Day 01Arrival in Guilin

Our guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area at Guilin Airport and transfer you to the hotel. After having dinner, enjoy the ethnic Songs and Dances at Lijiang theatre.(D)

Ethnic Songs and Dances Show - It's a great enjoyment to appreciate the ethnic songs and dances at Lijiang Theatre. Owing to good sound and visual effects, the performances give you a feeling of beauty. Some of them are magnificent; some of them are robust and ardent; and some of them are charming and attractive. It's not an exaggeration to say they are worth seeing one hundred times. Additionally, the stage is decorated in a very ethnic style. The bronze drums, cow bells, silver ornaments, brocades and many other specialties of ethnic minorities can be seen there.

Day 02Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin

Enduring memories are created today as you cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo. Transfer to the hotel. Upon arrival in Yangshuo, a short bicycle trip to the countryside will then be arranged. You will visit a local villager's home to experience the farmer's lifestyle there. Alternatively, you can take our electric car instead of taking bicycles. Transfer back to Guilin. (Tips: Since the lunch on the Li River cruise can not meet your expectation, TCG suggests that you have enough breakfast at the hotel today.)(B+L)

Descriptions:
Li River - The Li River Scenery is the most picturesque and largest Karst scenic area in the world. Originated in Mao'er Mountain in Xing'an County, the Li River passes through Guilin, Yanshuo and Pingle County. Its course of 83 kilometers from Guilin to Yangshuo is like a green ribbon flanked by numerous verdant hills. The odd peaks standing along the river course reflect on the crystal-clear water, creating a splendid landscape painting. Fields and gardens strew at random on the bank, which brings you the reminiscence of idyllic lifestyle depicted in Ancient Chinese poetries.

Day 03Departure from Guilin

Visit the Reed Flute Cave, the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill. Then, you will be transferred to the airport for your homeward flight.(B+L)

Descriptions:
Reed Flute Cave - Represented as the Palace of Nature's Art, the Reed Flute Cave is renowned for the marvelous spectacles formed by stalagmites, stalactites, stone columns, stone curtains and stone flowers. Under the suitable function of lighting facilities, the cave looks more fabulous. When staying in it, visitor will probably think it a fairy land. Since the Tang Dynasty (618-907), the Reed Flute Cave has been visited and some of them even left beautiful murals. At present, there are 77 murals discovered there.

Seven Star Park - The Seven-Star Park is famous for its charming mountains and waters, which is a must-see in Guilin City. It's located on the eastern bank of the Li River with an area of about 120 hectares. Looking eastwards on the Liberation Bridge (Jiefang Qiao), you can see the park is formed by seven peaks - the four peaks of the Mt. Putuo and the three peaks of the Mt. Yueya. The seven peaks distribute in the form of the Dipper and people call them Seven-Star Mountains.

Elephant Trunk Hill - The Elephant Trunk Hill seems like a big elephant. In the hill, there are several tens of caves. Of them, the Elephant Trunk Cave and Elephant Eye Cave are more interesting. Maybe, you have guessed that the former one lies on the elephant trunk and the latter one should be at the location of an elephant's eye. If you go to the Elephant Trunk Hill, the Elephant Trunk Cave should be visited especially. It's an ideal place for enjoying the cool in summer and appreciating the river scenery.
